Treat yourself to a relaxing afternoon of yoga, food, community and, deep rest. Nourish your body with a slow and rejuvenating Asana practice. Enjoy a delicious vegetarian Indian meal to balance the warmth and moisture of spring weather. Finally, rest, digest, and let it all soak in with the deep restorative closing.
Join me, Shamina Rao, Yoga teacher, and my friend, Nandini Sharma, chef, and cookbook author on this mini urban escape! Shamina and Nandini have been partnering for over 4 years to offer retreats that follow the Ayurvedic tradition of aligning food and mindful movement to balance the mind and body to aspects of the season. The retreat will include slow flow, Asana, pranayam, journaling, meditation, dinner, and a restorative closing.

PRENATAL YOGA
These prenatal yoga classes are designed to support your changing body as you move toward birth. We will use postures (Asana) breath work (pranayam) and guided relaxation practices that are nourishing for pregnancy, labor, and delivery.
This is not only a nice way to tune into your body and baby but also be in community with other pregnant people.
Every Wednesday 5:30-6:30 pm at Yoga Sole, 254 Windsor Place, Brooklyn NY 11215
Postpartum Lactation Support Group
Tuesdays 10:30-11:30
Join me for a weekly drop-in postpartum lactation support group in Windsor Terrace! Bring your baby and your feeding questions, and connect with other new moms. This circle will be held by two IBCLCs (International Board Certified Lactation Consultants) who have been working with moms and babies for many years. We will address questions and concerns about latching, positions, pain, supply (is my baby getting enough?), pumping, and many other topics and will have an infant scale for weighted feeds. This is a wonderful way to meet other new moms. Oh, and we will have tea too! $35, sign-up required.
This group is for common concerns, please seek a private session for medically complex issues.

Join me and @threeandahalfacresyoga this Friday 12/10 for a Heart-Opening Flow-Softening into the Anahata Chakra. This is an uplifting breath-focused vinyasa flow with gentle heart openers and a pranayama for the Anahata (heart) chakra. We encourage you to set aside time from 8 - 9 am EST to give attention and care to your heart space.
